World Series Game 4 update: Giants one game from title after beating Rangers, 4-0

The San Francisco Giants are one win away from claiming their first championship in more than 50 years after Madison Bumgarner threw a gem to beat the Texas Rangers, 4-0, in World Series Game 4 on Sunday.

Giants closer Brian Wilson preserved the shutout by retiring Elvis Andrus, Michael Young and Josh Hamilton in the ninth inning.

The 21-year-old Bumgarner gave up only three hits through eight innings, while Aubrey Huff and Buster Posey led the Giants' offense with home runs.

Game 5 is Monday and, if necessary, Game 6 would be Wednesday at AT&T Park in San Francisco. The Giants last won the World Series in 1954, before they relocated from New York to San Francisco.
