World Series Game 3 update: Rangers lead Giants, 4-0, after six innings

October 30, 2010 |  6:05 pm

The Texas Rangers still lead 4-0 after six innings in World Series Game 3, but the San Francisco Giants kept themselves in the game by turning back another Texas threat.

With Giants reliever Guillermo Mota pitching, the Rangers' Ian Kinsler hit a broken-bat single and then stole second base. Mota walked Jeff Francoeur but got Bengie Molina to hit into an inning-ending double play.

The Giants tried to get something started in the top half of the inning at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington when first baseman Aubrey Huff hit a two-out double against Rangers starter Colby Lewis. But Lewis got Buster Posey to take a called third strike for the final out.
