A three-run home run by rookie first baseman Mitch Moreland gave the Texas Rangers a 3-0 lead over the San Francisco Giants on Saturday in World Series Game 3.

Moreland lined the ball into the right-field stands at Rangers Park in Arlington after Nelson Cruz opened the inning with a double and, two outs later, Bengie Molina walked against Giants starter Jonathan Sanchez.

In the Giants' half of the inning, Cody Ross led off with a walk. But Juan Uribe popped out and designated hitter Pablo Sandoval grounded into an easy double play.
