After a couple of illegal hits during games last weekend, the NFL said Tuesday that players would now be suspended for violent conduct.

Some players around the league are calling that a hard foul.

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bradie James said he thinks he will ‘be playing flag football in about five years.’

Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis said ‘the game will be diluted very quickly.’

The league issued severe fines for flagrant hits by Pittsburgh’s James Harrison ($75,000), and New England’s Brandon Meriweather and Atlanta’s Dunta Robinson ($50,000 each).
