NFL nixes calf-roping celebration by Vikings’ Jared Allen

According to the Vikings’ website, NFL players can not engage in celebrations while on the ground, and Allen’s knee touches the ground as he pretends to rope a calf after a sack.

Although Allen has been celebrating in the same way for years, he says he was just informed of the rule prior to the Vikings’ last game.

Allen has one sack this season and 73 in his seven-year NFL career.
