Terrell Owens and Zenyatta: Kindred spirits?

Spirits_400 What does one well-known athlete do upon meeting another sports superstar for the first time?

Feed her carrots, of course.

That's what Cincinnati Bengals receiver Terrell Owens did when he paid a visit to undefeated mare Zenyatta at her barn in Hollywood Park over the weekend.

On business in California during the Bengals' bye week, Owens said he had to meet the 6-year-old after hearing so much about her.

When told that Zenyatta is mild-mannered off the track but extremely competitive on it, Owens responded: “So she's like me: kind off the field, but somebody who shows a lot of passion on it.”
