Prized recruit Brett Hundley has been landed by UCLA.

Hundley, considered one of the top high school quarterbacks in the nation, made his announcement at Chandler High School on Monday morning. He had narrowed his choices to UCLA and Washington last month.

The 6-foot-4, 215-pound Hundley is a threat as a runner and passer, giving him the potential to fit neatly into the Bruins “pistol” offense. He threw for 1,517 yards and rushed for 1,208 yards last season.

Hundley’s commitment leaves the future of backup quarterback Richard Brehaut, a sophomore, uncertain.
