Source debunks rumors of Pat Burns' death -- and he should know

Thankfully, like the famous Mark Twain quote about a report of his death being inaccurate, reports Friday that former NHL coach Pat Burns had died are inaccurate.

Burns, who has terminal cancer and ended chemotherapy treatments, is in Quebec and called Bob McKenzie, a reporter for TSN, to say he's alive and fighting.

Cliff Fletcher, an advisor to the Toronto Maple Leafs, was widely quoted about Burns' death but later said he had been given inaccurate information by a friend.

McKenzie wrote a marvelous piece about Burns that's worth reading on many levels.
