Kings’ TV broadcast schedule: Canucks to Blackhawks

The Kings released their 70-game television schedule on Fox Sports West and Prime Ticket for the 2010-11 season.

All 10 Kings games in October will be televised, including the 2010-11 regular season opener on Saturday, Oct. 9, at Vancouver at 7 p.m. as well as the Kings’ home opener on Oct. 12 against Atlanta at Staples Center at 7:30 p.m.

Also on the TV schedule: the Kings visit the Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks on Oct. 27 and then play host to Chicago on Nov. 27.

Play-by-play announcer Bob Miller and color commentator Jim Fox return to broadcast Kings games this season -- Miller returns for his 38th season and Fox is entering his 21st. In addition, for the second consecutive season, all Kings games will be broadcast in high definition.

And the following Kings games are scheduled to be broadcast nationally. In addition, the Kings-Ducks game at Honda Center on April 8 will be broadcast by the Ducks and seen locally on KDOC.
