Video: Emmitt Smith inadvertently gives Al Michaels a new nickname

It was a huge weekend for Emmitt Smith, being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame after an amazing NFL career.

So he can be excused for perhaps being a bit overwhelmed, which may have led to a verbal flub during an interview with Al Michaels. Here is Smith referring to the NBC broadcaster as Mike during Sunday night's Hall of Fame game:

I'm not going to slam the guy for a slip of the tongue on national TV -- the timing is humorous, though, seeing that Michaels was praising Smith for how well he spoke without using notes or a prompter.

Michaels didn't seem to mind -- he didn't even flinch. But here's a song he might want to play for Smith next time they run into each other.
