UCLA football: Kevin Prince practicing again

Kevin_240 UCLA quarterback Kevin Prince lost his red, no-contact jersey for practice Monday, as his strained back muscle has made a significant improvement over the weekend.

Prince had not practiced since Aug. 11. His return is an indication that he will be ready for the opener at Kansas State on Sept. 4.

Meanwhile, running back Malcolm Jones is wearing a boot on his left leg, as he suffered what was thought to be a minor sprained ankle in Saturday’s scrimmage. Linebacker Glenn Love is also injured, wearing a red jersey.

Offensive guard Stanley Hasiak is wearing a jersey at practice, a sign that he has returned. He is academically ineligible this season and was not invited to training camp.
