An early look at what Federer, Nadal, Sharapova will wear at U.S. Open; Venus' outfit still a mystery

Nike is offering "Look Books" of the U.S. Open outfits it has planned for Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Maria Sharapova and Li Na. If you watch the "Rachel Zoe Project"  on Bravo or   "Project Runway"  on Lifetime you know what a "Look Book" is. If you don't, it's not so complicated. It's a look at a new outfit and all the colors it comes in and from lots of different angles.

The good news is that it seems that Federer won't be wearing the pink shirt he had on last week at Cincinnati. Pink just didn't seem to fit his game or his demeanor. Looks like Sharapova will be in some aqua and some deep blue (unless it's purple -- sometimes color doesn't translate so well on the laptop) and Rafa will be in all-black or lime green and black.

Meanwhile, Venus Williams, who caused quite a hubbub with her quirky French Open outfit with its flesh-colored panties, played coy about what she's going to wear, other than to say she'll have both a day and evening look out of her own collection, EleVen. But she won't give a preview.
