Luis Martinez Jr. wins pole for NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race in Colorado

Luis Martinez Jr., a driver from Long Beach, won the pole for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race at Colorado National Speedway on Saturday night.

Martinez, the rookie points leader in the West standings, won the first pole of his West Series career.

Eric Holmes, the Escalon, Calif., driver who leads the West Series standings, will start second and on the front row with Martinez.

Greg Pursley, a Canyon Country Canyon High graduate, qualified third.
