If anyone deserves a break after one preseason game, it’s New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning, who may not play Saturday against the Pittsburgh Steelers:

Manning is undergoing more tests to make certain he didn’t suffer a concussion -- in addition to the laceration on his forehead that required 12 stitches -- during Monday night’s preseason opener against the New York Jets.

Giants Coach Tom Coughlin said Manning’s status is uncertain until the tests have been completed and reviewed.

On the other side of the field, Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will see his first preseason action after not playing against Detroit on Saturday, offensive coordinator Bruce Arians said. Roethlisberger has been suspended by the NFL for the first six games of the regular season.
