Dustin Pedroia returns to Red Sox lineup; Erick Aybar to bat sixth for Angels

Dustin_300 Boston second baseman Dustin Pedroia, sidelined since June 26 because of a broken bone in his left foot, has been activated off the disabled list and will bat second for the Red Sox in Tuesday night's series opener against the Angels in Fenway Park.

Angels shortstop Erick Aybar, who was moved from the leadoff spot to the second spot in the order on Aug. 6, will bat sixth for the first time this season. Maicer Izturis will start at second base and bat second for the Angels against Boston right-hander Clay Buchholz. Jered Weaver will start for the Angels.
