It’s not always easy to be funny while surrounded by people screaming questions at you.

Somehow, Will Ferrell managed to do it.

Ferrell spoke with ESPN during the Home Run Derby and came up to the press box to take questions from the media.

Among the highlights from his short interview was Ferrell’s asking an Australian reporter if they play baseball in the country and his home run call.

It went: “Back to the wall … Look what time it is -- home run o’clock.”

Ferrell was promoting a movie called “The Other Guys” in which he plays a cop. The movie features a cameo from Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter, who Ferrell said is an excellent actor.

He didn’t say the same when asked to give Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria acting tips.

“I would just say maybe don’t do any more commercials,” he said. “That’d be my acting advice.”

Ferrell, who grew up an Angels fan, did all this while wearing a Bobby Grich patch from his childhood.
