Should the outcome of the All-Star game determine home-field advantage in the World Series?

With its 3-1 victory in Tuesday's All-Star game, the National League secured home-field advantage for its representative in this year's World Series, according to the format that has been in place for eight years.

But Michael Weiner, executive director of the players' union said Tuesday there was "strong sentiment" among players that home-field advantage should be determined by regular-season record.

Commissioner Bud Selig said he has no plans to change the format.
