Cleveland Cavaliers' owner expresses his disgust for LeBron James

Gilbert The hatred of all things LeBron James isn't just reserved for his former ticket-buying fans in Cleveland.

In an open letter on the Cleveland Cavaliers' website, majority owner Dan Gilbert reaffirmed his franchise's commitment to its fans, writing that he guarantees the Cavaliers "will win an NBA Championship before the self-titled former 'King' wins one."

Gilbert went on to describe James' television announcement as a "shameful display of selfishness and betrayal that has shifted our 'motivation' to previously unknown and previously never experienced levels."

In addition, Gilbert says "the self-declared former 'King' will be taking the 'curse' with him down South. And until he does 'right' by Cleveland and Ohio, James (and the town where he plays) will unfortunately own this dreaded spell and bad karma."
