USC already has decided to return its copy of Reggie Bush’s Heisman Trophy, but no decision has been made on whether Bush himself will be forced to give up the trophy he won in 2005.

Heisman Trust Chairman William Dockery said Wednesday the board ‘will be considering the issues raised’ before making a decision.

Allegations that Bush received improper benefits while playing for the Trojans led to NCAA sanctions against USC, which included vacating all football wins, including football bowl games, from the 2004 and 2005 seasons.

Dockery said in a statement that ‘due to the complex issues involved and the Trust’s desire to reach an appropriate decision, no definitive timetable has been established.’
