Angels snubbed in All-Star final vote

The host Angels got the minimum one player on the All-Star roster -- center fielder Torii Hunter -- and no players among the five chosen for the "Final Vote." Each league nominates five players for the "Final Vote," with the winner selected by fan balloting on mlb.com.

The "Final Vote" candidates:

NATIONAL LEAGUE

Heath Bell, San Diego Padres

Carlos Gonzalez, Colorado Rockies

Joey Votto, Cincinnati Reds

Billy Wagner, Atlanta Braves

Ryan Zimmerman, Washington Nationals

AMERICAN LEAGUE

Paul Konerko, Chicago White Sox

Nick Swisher, New York Yankees

Delmon Young, Minnesota Twins

Michael Young, Texas Rangers

Kevin Youkilis, Boston Red Sox
