Jozy Altidore returned to full training with the U.S. World Cup team for the first time since he sustained a mild ankle sprain June 2, and it looks as if he’ll be fully ready for the team’s tournament opener Saturday against England.

‘I feel great. The ankle feels fine,’ the 20-year-old striker said. ‘It’s a little sore, but I had no issues participating in all the exercises today. I’m happy to be part of the group again.’

Altidore has been rehabilitating his injured ankle apart from the rest of the team for most of the last week.
