USC Coach Lane Kiffin said Monday, ‘I’ve heard nothing,’ regarding the NCAA’s impending report regarding the Trojans athletic program.

And with speculation also swirling regarding the possible expansion of the Pacific 10 Conference and other conferences, Kiffin is focusing on recruiting and evaluating tape from spring practice.

‘It really falls under things we can’t control, so I really don’t put a lot of thought into it,’ Kiffin said of possible expansion. ‘I don’t wake up and read the paper every day to see what’s being said about it because we have zero control of what’s going to happen.’

Kiffin expects that Pac-10 Commissioner Larry Scott will continue aggressively to market the conference and possible expansion.

Asked if he cared whether the Pac-10 included new teams from Texas or other states, Kiffin said, ‘If we expand, we’ll figure out then how it affects us and how it hurts or helps us.’
