Tiger Woods announced on his website Tuesday that he will defend his title at the Australian Masters, the last tournament he played in 2009 before the Thanksgiving-night car accident that led to revelations of his sexual affairs and a subsequent five-month hiatus from competitive golf.

This year’s tournament will take place Nov. 11-14 at Victoria Golf Club. Last year’s event was at Kingston Heath, where Woods closed with an 8 for a two-shot victory over Greg Chalmers for his 82nd (and most recent) title worldwide.

Woods finished last weekend’s Memorial with a six-under 282 for the tournament, in 19th place and 12 shots behind winner Justin Rose.
