In a tribute to the late John Wooden, Prime Ticket will be rebroadcasting the 90-minute special ‘Scully & Wooden for the Kids,’ which was originally shown live on June 13, 2008, and has never been replayed until Monday night’s scheduled telecast.

The special is scheduled to be shown after the Dodgers game and the postgame show.

The show, which was hosted by Times columnist T.J. Simers, includes many memorable moments, including:

-- Wooden, at the age of 97, showing he was still the sharpest guy in the room.

-- Scully leading the sold-out Nokia Theatre crowd in a rendition of ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame.’

-- Bill Walton describing Wooden’s feet just before Wooden showed a child the proper way to tie his shoes.

-- Wooden telling everyone his favorite curse word, which involved no cursing at all.

This is definitely one to set your DVR for so you can watch it again.
