For a driver who has never won a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series road course race, Jimmie Johnson is having an impressive run.

He leads the Cup race at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma by 13 seconds over Martin Truex Jr. at lap 55, the midway point in the race.

Jeff Gordon, a five-time winner in Cup races at Sonoma, is third, followed by Juan Pablo Montoya and Kurt Busch.

Kevin Harvick is sixth, followed by pole winner Kasey Kahne, Jeff Burton, Boris Said and Robby Gordon.
