Ervin Santana's five-game winning streak snapped in Angels' 6-1 loss to A's

Santana_300 Angels right-hander Ervin Santana was tagged for five runs -- four of them earned -- and seven hits in five innings of a 6-1 loss to the Oakland Athletics today. Santana's five-game winning streak was snapped, and he fell to 6-4 on the season.

A's right-hander Trevor Cahill threw a career-high eight innings, giving up one run and six hits, striking out four and walking one, to earn the victory and improve to 5-2.

The A's scored twice in the fourth inning, which included Ryan Sweeney's RBI double, and three times in the fifth, which featured RBI singles by Daric Barton, Kurt Suzuki and Kevin Kouzmanoff.
