Eric Holmes wins NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race in Oregon

Eric Holmes won the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race at Douglas County Speedway in Oregon on Saturday night. It was his third straight win at the track in Roseburg, Ore.

David Mayhew, a driver from Bakersfield, won the pole and maintained his lead in the West Series standings. He has a 42-point lead over Holmes after four races.

Greg Pursley, a graduate of Canyon High in Canyon Country, finished sixth in the race and is in third place in the West Series standings.

It was a rough race for Luis Martinez Jr. of Long Beach. His car's steering box froze up in practice. He had to withdraw from the race on lap 54 and finished last.

Got to NASCAR.com and Haddock in the Paddock for more on the West Series race from Roseburg.
