Bobby Santos top NASCAR development series driver for June

2010_NWMT_Martinsville_Santos Wins1500 Bobby Santos, a NASCAR Whelen Modified Series driver from Massachusetts, is off to one of the best starts in series history. He has won three of the first four races, including the most recent at Martinsville Speedway in Virginia, and is the top driver in the NASCAR Hunter Index for development series drivers.

Eric Holmes, a driver from Escalon, Calif., is the top driver from the West Coast in the Hunter Index coming in at No. 4. The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West driver won the race at Douglas County Speedway in Oregon last week and has won two of the past three West Series races.

David Mayhew, a driver from Bakerfield, is ranked No. 9 in the Hunter Index. He was leads the West Series standings and was the highest finishing driver from the West Series at the NASCAR K&N Pro Series race at Iowa Speedway.
