World Cup: Sit on it, Diego
Acting on Maradona's behalf, the Argentina soccer association asked the staff at the Pretoria High Performance Centre -- the team's World Cup headquarters -- to gut the facilities in Maradona's suite because they weren't up to the coach's standards. Removed were water basins, toilet bowls and cisterns in the two bathrooms, replaced last week with fancy dark wood vanity cabinets, new toilet bowls and a special bidget with two settings. The overhaul cost --- just more than $2,000.
According to news reports out of South Africa, the E-Bidget -- hailed as "the best toilet seat in the world" -- features a heated seat, a warm air blow-dryer and front and rear bidget wands. So now the oft-criticized Argentine coach doesn't need help blowing air up his ... well, let's just leave it at that.
