In a move that will no doubt disappoint opposing fans who used his fame for fodder, PercyLil’ RomeoMiller has decided to leave the USC men’s basketball team, Trojans Coach Kevin O’Neill confirmed Thursday.

Miller, a 5-foot-11 sophomore guard from New Orleans who played at Beverly Hills High, left on his own terms, O’Neill said.

Miller was more known for his hip-hop music success and for his father Master P than his basketball skills. He only played in three games last season in which he suffered through a sprain in his left shoulder. His final appearance came Dec. 5 in a 79-53 loss at Georgia Tech in which he totaled two minutes of floor time, a missed field-goal attempt and a steal.
