The 10 greatest L.A. Kings of all time, No. 5: Dave Taylor
Continuing our series of the top 10 L.A. Kings of all time, as chosen by our readers, with No. 5:
No. 5: Dave Taylor (72 first-place votes, 8,788 points)
Taylor was a member of the Triple Crown Line along with Marcel Dionne and Charlie Simmer, both of whom are also in the top 10.
Taylor scored 112 points in the 1980-81 season, and played for the Kings from 1977-94.
Several voters mentioned they would have placed Taylor higher if not for his lackluster stint as general manager of the team from 1997-2006.
On the Kings' career list, Taylor is first in games (1,111), third in goals (431), third in assists (638) and third in points (1,069).
