The 10 greatest L.A. Kings of all time, No. 2: Marcel Dionne

We continue our countdown of the 10 greatest L.A. Kings of all time as chosen by our readers.

Fabforum No. 2: Marcel Dionne (381 first-place votes, 13,208 points)

Dionne played 12 seasons with the Kings and was part of the "Triple Crown Line" with fellow top 10 Kings Dave Taylor (No. 5) and Charlie Simmer (No. 10). Dionne was a superstar on a series of Kings teams who never could quite advance far in the playoffs.

Dionne's best season was 1979-80, when he won the scoring title with 137 points. He was traded to the New York Rangers on March 10, 1987 for Bob Carpenter and Tom Laidlaw.

On the Kings' career list, Dionne is third in games (921), second in goals (550), first in assists (757) and first in points (1,307).
