College baseball: Pac 10, ACC and SEC are viewed as the power conferences

The Pacific 10 Conference, Southeastern Conference and Atlantic Coast Conference were deemed the strongest in college baseball this season. All three received eight teams into the NCAA tournament.

SEC teams will host four regionals (Auburn, South Carolina, Florida and Arkansas). The PAC 10 will host two (Arizona State and UCLA). The ACC will host two (Virginia and Georgia Tech).

Connecticut is the only host that is not the top-seeded team in its regional. Florida State is No. 1 in that regional.

The top-seeded teams:

1. Arizona State

2. Texas

3. Florida

4. Coastal Carolina

5. Virginia

6. UCLA

7. Louisville

8. Georgia Tech
