All-Stars to parade through Anaheim, Disneyland

If you can't get tickets to the All-Star Game -- or if you can't afford them -- you still can see the All-Stars up close and personal.  You can wave at them too.

The route for the annual All-Star parade was announced Thursday. On the day of the All-Star Game, July 13, a caravan of players and managers will depart from Harbor Boulevard and Convention Way -- next to the Anaheim Marriott and Hilton -- at 11:30 a.m. The caravan will proceed north on Harbor cross Katella Avenue and make its way into Disneyland, concluding along Main Street USA in Disneyland.

The portion of the parade along city streets -- about three-quarters of a mile -- is free. The Disneyland portion is restricted to paying Disney customers.
