Tiger Woods parred. Put himself in a tough position when he drove into the trees left of the fairway, but saw a risk pay off when he lifted a sky-high approach that came down a mere six feet from the flagstick. However, he was unable to take advantage when his birdie attempt slid past on the left.

Today: 2-under par.

Tournament: 6-under.

Standing: Tied for third, three shots behind sole leader Lee Westwood (9-under through 9).
