The Sparks will play a home game against the Seattle Storm on June 5, but it won’t be at Staples Center.

As part of the ‘Get Outside & Play LA’ campaign, the game will be played outdoors, the first such game in franchise history, and will be at Home Depot Center.

‘Playing outside, beneath the stars will ensure an unforgettable evening for our players and fans,’ said Sparks President Kristin Bernert. ‘But the game also provides a terrific opportunity for our athletes to inspire kids of all ages to lead healthier and more active lifestyles.’ The Sparks also will host a Sparks Fan Fest at the Grove shopping center in Los Angeles on May 23, a ‘Downtown Dribble’ on July 3 that will feature activities centered around the art of dribbling a basketball, and a series of clinics at city recreation centers through the summer.
