Nick Joanides wins second straight NASCAR Super Late Model race at Irwindale

Nick Joanides, a driver from Woodland Hills, won his second NASCAR Super Late Model race in a row at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale on Saturday night.

Joanides, the reigning Super Late Model champion at the track, finished ahead of rookie Ryan Reed of Bakersfield and Sergio Pena, a rookie in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East.

Joanides said he might not be able to make it out to the next Super Late Model race at Irwindale because of a lack of funds. He is also the reigning NASCAR Late Model champion at the track and finished 19th in the Late Model season opener at Irwindale last Saturday night.

Go to Haddock in the Paddock for more on Joanides and recaps of all the races at Toyota Speedway at Irwindale.
