One of the perks of having baseball’s All-Star game in Anaheim July 13 is this: a ‘ticket hunt’ open to all California residents.

Special red ticket packages have been secretly placed at five locations around Southern California and beginning at noon Friday (yes, we’re talking April 9) the hunt begins.

The first fan at each location to find the red packages will receive four tickets to all five days of the MLB All-Star FanFest, food vouchers, a voucher for a baseball autographed by Angels’ All-Star center fielder Torii Hunter and a Holiday Inn Priority Pass that enables them to go to the front of the line for select attractions.

The FanFest will be held July 9 to July 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center.

The hunt ends at 5 p.m. Friday or whenever the final red package is discovered. For clues on how to find the packages, go to www.AllStarGame.com or tune into 830 AM beginning Friday at noon.
