It’s just a meaningless exhibition game, but it’s starting to resemble the postseason.

At least in terms of Joel Pineiro’s inability to get the Dodgers out, that is. The Angels sinkerball specialist yielded three second-inning runs Saturday afternoon at Dodger Stadium to give the Dodgers a 3-1 lead in the Freeway Series finale.

The Dodgers rocked Pineiro for four runs in four innings last October when he pitched for St. Louis in the series-clinching Game 3 of the National League division series.

Jamey Carroll got things started for the Dodgers with one out in the second inning when he singled on a line drive to left field. Blake DeWitt doubled to right, putting runners on second and third, before Carroll scored on a wild pitch to tie the score at 1-1.

Xavier Paul doubled to right to drive in DeWitt and give the Dodgers the lead before Russell Martin singled to bring home Paul with the inning’s final run.
