Jimmie Johnson
won his second NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race in row, the fourth of his career at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the 49th of his career on Sunday.

Kevin Harvick finished second to Johnson for the second race in a row. Harvick has the lead in the Cup Series standings, but he hasn’t been able to win a race yet.

Jeff Gordon led the most laps at the Vegas race, but ended up in third place. The question now is: Who will be the driver to knock Johnson out of the winner’s circle. Harvick has been the closest. Perhaps Gordon can return to his dominant ways. Maybe one of the Roush drivers, Matt Kenseth, Carl Edwards or Greg Biffle can get their acts together.
