Most people celebrate getting married on sun-drenched beaches in a pursuit of pleasure.

Wesley Korir prefers torture.

A week after tying the knot, the Kenyan born resident of Louisville, Ky., will spend his honeymoon running 26.2 miles on Sunday in an attempt to defend his Los Angeles Marathon title.

‘This is my honeymoon,’ Korir said to the Associated Press.

His wife must really love him.
