Victor Rojas named as new Angels play-by-play broadcaster
The Angels and Fox have announced that MLB Network studio host Victor Rojas, 42, will be the Angels television play-by-play announcer alongside analyst Mark Gubicza. Rory Markas was to have done the job, but he died in January.
Last November the Angels and Fox did not renew the contracts of analyst Rex Hudler and announcer Steve Physioc and decided to make permanent radio and television assignments. Terry Smith and Jose Mota will handle the games on radio.
