Considering USC’s last four games -- all losses -- when it averaged 47.3 points, its 38-33 first-half lead against Arizona this morning is nothing short of an offensive explosion.

Both teams have made runs back and forth, but USC is being led by seniors Marcus Johnson (10 points), Dwight Lewis (nine points) and Mike Gerrity (seven points).

USC is shooting 50% (16 of 32) from the floor; Arizona is shooting 59% (13 of 22). Forward Jamelle Horn has made four of five shots and leads the Wildcats with 11 points.

Oh, and USC Coach Kevin O’Neill, who used to coach at Arizona, is getting booed at an extremely high rate.
