UCLA’s baseball team completed a three-game sweep of Nebraska on Saturday, winning, 5-4, to improve its record to 9-0. It’s the best start by a Bruins team in its modern era (post-1955).

A bases-loaded sacrifice fly by Tyler Rahmatulla in the ninth inning scored Dean Espy with the winning run. Pitcher Rob Rasmussen had 10 strikeouts in five innings.

Espy had three hits, including a home run and three runs batted in.
