Jonathan Bernier, who recorded his first NHL shutout on Tuesday at Nashville, will get his second straight start Thursday when the Kings play host to Vancouver at Staples Center.

Kings Coach Terry Murray said the break will give Jonathan Quick some quality practice time and repeated that Quick isn’t tired--though Quick’s post-Olympic efforts might argue otherwise. Murray also said Quick remains the Kings’ No. 1 goalie and will return to the net Saturday against the Ducks at Staples Center.
