Kings lose to Blackhawks, 3-2, in overtime

Patrick Sharp scored on a breakaway in overtime to give the Blackhawks a 3-2 victory over the Kings Wednesday before a raucous crowd at the United Center.

The Kings survived a third-period penalty that carried over into overtime but couldn’t prevent Sharp from sneaking behind the defense and scoring at 2:08 of overtime.
