Chivas USA cuts Carey Talley, Jon Conway

Talley_300 Chivas USA waived defender Carey Talley on Tuesday as MLS teams continued to trim rosters before the upcoming roster compliance deadline, insidesocal.com is reporting.

"Carey provided leadership and strong play for us in the last two seasons," Stephen Hamilton, Chivas USA vice president of soccer operations, said of the 33-year-old veteran. "This year, both he and the club decided to move in a different direction. We would like to thank him for his service to Chivas USA, and wish him the best of luck in the next phase of his career"

The team also waived goalkeeper Jon Conway, according to goal.com.
