Kings' Bob Miller to miss next few games

Bob_edited-1
Bob Miller
, who on Saturday missed only his 18th game in 37 seasons as the voice of the Kings, will miss Monday's home game  against Columbus and Wednesday's game at Chicago because he has shingles, a club spokesman said.

The second game of the Kings' upcoming trip, at Dallas on Friday, is radio only, so by missing Wednesday's game, Miller will have a few extra days to rest.

Nick Nickson, the team's radio voice, will move to the TV booth Monday and Wednesday to work with Jim Fox. The radio team will be Daryl Evans and Mike "Krusher" Kalinowski, who is the Kings' manager of communications and has some broadcast work in his resume.

Get well wishes to Bob. ... We'll forward any messages you'd like to leave for him.
