The Big West Conference announced its All-Conference teams this morning, and Santa Barbara, which was the league’s regular-season co-champion with Pacific, earned two of the top honors.

Gauchos sophomore forward Orlando Johnson was named player of the year and Coach Bob Williams was named coach of the year.
Johnson, who led the league in scoring (18 ppg), is the second Gaucho in the last three years to win player of the year honors. He was the only Big West player to score in double digits in every game this season.

Williams, whose Gauchos are the No. 1 seed in this week’s Big West Tournament in Anaheim, has now earned coach of the year honors three times in his 12 seasons at Santa Barbara.
