GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Angels trimmed their spring roster to 37 over the weekend by reassigning five pitchers to their minor league camp. Those reassigned were right-handers Ryan Brasier, Travis Chick, Tommy Mendoza, Robert Mosebach and Rafael Rodriguez.

Brasier, Chick and Mendoza were all nonroster invitees to spring training. Of the five, Rodriguez, who was sent down Sunday, saw the most action in Cactus League play, appearing in five games and pitching 9 1/3 innings, giving up 11 runs on 15 hits.
